why did she do it!?

My wife and I brought an Antara 4x4 a couple of months ago, all leather and full of gadgets etc, a nice car all round. The car is on a 61 plate and had one lady owner (honestly it was a lady in her mid fifties) and great condition, apart from one thing. The radio and cd player had been changed to one that hinged forward to put the cd in and had brightly coloured flashing lights that couldn't be turned off! This was bad enough, but it hadn't been fitted correctly and kept falling out and also drove me crazy trying to ignore it when night driving. So off I went to my Vauxhall dealer to buy an original one, only to be told that it would cost over £700.00! Finally I got my log book from the dvla and the old owners address. I then went off to see the lady in person to see if she still had the original radio/cd player. Lucky me, she still had it stored in her garage and after a bit of haggling I managed to get it for a small payment. I did however ask her why she'd changed it and her reply was classic "I like watching the changing colours when I drive"!!!!! I guess this is a lesson to us all, watch out for drivers with bright flashing lights in their cars. scary or what?

Its no good me having a fancy ICE unit as Ican never hear it for the other half and her "mind that car, cyclist, pedestrian or dog/animal".

I had that until one day I started pulling the car over to the side of the road and got her to drive every time she said it, she soon stopped, this was surprising cause I thought she would love to drive it anyway lol
