Just got my Antara on Saturday diesel diamond manual.It will be interesting to see how many mpg i can get out of it as i managed up to 61mpg on my mondeo and 28-32 towing.
Just had the care paint finished sealed with Supaguard the dealer at Loughborough wanted £349.00 for it.I bought the same products e.g paint sealer alloy wheel sealer and upholstery protector all for £10.99 on E bay and did it myself saving £338.01p !!!
Just need to get Mud flaps cheapest i could find for original ones is £45 for the set anyone know of any cheaper ?
Also i want a full size spare wheel does anyone know where to find one i have tried breakers but was not willing to pay £180 for one wheel.
I think chrysler 300c have the same wheels and there are bargains on E bay but not 100% sure of fitting any tyre or wheel specialists on here ?
Love the 4x4 so far going to get a tow bar fitted tomorrow

Hi and welcome to the forums.

You will get nothing like that from the Antara.
I got 34 on my first test run ( no motorway driving ) and 27 towing ( 1500kg van )

I got mine considerably cheaper than that - but I had a pal who worked for Vauxhall and got them for me at employees discount - which was worth a fair bit.
Do you know anybody who works for VX ?

Spare Wheel
Mine worked out at £160
It is a steel rim from Vauxhall ( sold as Rim for Winter Tyres )
Tyre = 215 x 70 x 16
This fits in the well after you take out the foam unit that is there.
If you are towing you need a full size spare wheel - not that useless inflation kit

I started a thread on Spare Wheel ..... I will post the link when I find it again.
