Hi. During the -9 weather, the rear wiper wouldn’t wash (frozen screen wash I suspect even in the afternoon after it has warmed up) and I noticed a drop of fluid falling from the interior lights! I suspect it was due to the rear fluid pipe but now I’ve read that said rear fluid pipe can leak, hence the wet footwell? I only noticed today as I went to clean and once I lifted the drivers mat it was a bit wet. I’m convinced the fluid smells the same as wash fluid too.
How can I fix this?

i would check that the scuttle tray, the bit in front of the windscreen, is clear of debris. Its just under the wipers, as thats where all the water runs down and then down the side of the door and out, if thats blocked and the seal on door isnt tight it can travel inside and then you get a wet floor on the drivers door. Im not saying that is what it is for certain, but i have had that happen on a few cars before and that was the reason.

Thank you. I’ll be sure to check that out

Forgot to say , that i would also check that your sills the bit under the door, isnt full of water either. Thats where all the water from the scuttle runs down to , the holes, under the sills, where its supposed to come out may be blocked. not sure if its allowed but here is a link to handy tutorial of what to check, not specific to the Antara but will give you a good insight in what to do. Ok so I’ve checked the above and can’t find any obvious blockages. I’ve not idea what’s happened but I do think it’s from when the screen wash pipes were frozen solid
