VX Customer Care

Just wondered what experiences anybody had endured when contacting VX Customer Services.
I only mention this as the last timeI contacted them about 2 weeks ago,I was spoken at by somebody who quite clearly thought it should be a one way conversation from her to me.
The information she gave me was quite clearly wrong but on the very rare occasion that I could make a contribution to the conversation there was a positive attempt to shoot me down in flames.
Icould only assume that the person at the other end had perfected the art of breathing through her ears in order not to pause speech to take a breath.

Ifound her attitude to be arrogant and bordered on being offensive to the point thatI just put the phone down, not wishing to listen to these ramblings.

I found it very strange whenI got an email a couple of days later telling that she hadNOT given me the correct information and she blamed the warranty department. It appears that the warranty department are somewhat lacking as well

well up to now my experience has been ok. Because i made a complaint about the time scale ,not about the person on the fone they alocated me a dedicated person to deal with me. so when i ring up i give a number and then get put thru to her.must admit she done all she i have asked for ,and has also got my car put onto priority on uloading and getting my car to the dealer quickly, set of mat foc and a remap foc.
I've had two contacts with the VX Customer Care team and found them to be thoroughly professional and helpful.

It goes without saying that each of us may have different experiences but the reality is that although these people are paid to be polite, courteous and professional at all times, many factors come in to play that alter these principles and it need not be as a direct result of anything "you" have said. I know from personal experience that after having a "war of words" with someone on the phone, it is then extremely difficult to bring the blood pressure down when dealing with the next person that phones in.
I had just phoned VX customer care a couple of days ago and fund the girl i had spoken to (Kathrine) to be polite and helpful as the person who had been in touch with me was off sic (Amanda) Kathrine informed me that my car was indeed on the Tulane and due inBristol ( Portbury) on the 27th April 2013 butunfortunately they had nothing to do with the transporters and that i would have t contact the Garage i had purchased my Antara from andexplainhow much a priority my car was to me, and she didsympathizewith mysituation
.So i have nocomplaintswith the customer care s far
.Indeed i did contact the garage and it is them that deal with transportation fromBristol, the company used by Evans Halshaw are ESM or ECM i did have it written down but put itsomewhere
.
I have been up since 04:30am a tad tired sorry

Can't help feeling that if you haven't parted with your money yet then you may well find a different attitude after you have.
I have contacted VX Customer Services on 4 previous occasions and found them to be of no constructive use at all.

Idid write a letter to VX's Customer Services Director outlining my issuesand pointed out thatI didn't rate their customer services at all.

It was actually them that contacted me as a result of my letterso to be fairI suppose the woman concerned was probably not in the best of humour to begin with.
Many thanks for the info about ECM, I had no idea I was dealing with a third party public relations company. This info is mega useful.Once again..Thanks
I was ever so glad when it was confirmed that your car is on the Tulane or my name would have been mud

In a word my morning and early afternoon were taken up with "fish"
.

I have just recently taken up a past hobby and today I had spent hours splitting aquatic plants that I had purchased at Pets at Home. They sell "potted" plants but these are actually between eight and twenty plants placed together in order to look good.

While splitting plants is not too difficult, the protection of the roots and then the weighting of them can be a little tricky. In a moment of madness I decided to buy two pots of Java grass but instead of 8-20 individual plants, there are up to 100 individual plants in these pots so that was really time consuming.

Do you now see how sad a "pensioner" life can be ?

I have not parted with any money yet and i will not part with my cash until i see the car and check that everything is ok, because once you have parted with the dosh it is hard to get things sorted, therefore my opinion on VX customer care is notbias in any way

Wilma, its a long day for all in your family but hopefully it won't be to long know.

I honestly thought that it would be great to "retire" but I do miss the job, not so much the politics of it all but the camaraderie of my colleagues.

Instead I have to wash the clothes, get them dried and ironed, wash the windows (inside & out), hoover, dust and prepare dinners etc etc

This is no job for a man of my stature

There has to be more to life than this !!!

Aha now you understand how hard it is for us women especially when we have to do both lol but kidding aside I do understand what you mean about missing the laughs and the p taking, my husband always sakes why I miss it as he would not as he like you is fed up with the politics of it all now, my answear to him was that I was always more outgoing then him as I would speak the hind legs of a donkey, I loved the sociable aspect of the job as well meeting people from all walkes of life.
But now things can get a little bit boring and adjusting is hard, but my daughter loves it as she has her personal taxi, and the dog is good to talk to cause she never answers me back with any cheek.
