Hi all.looking for a bit of advice, sometimes myAntara starts to vibrate from the rear end , it does not happen all the time but when it does its pretty bad. I have heard a bang from the back and think that my handbrake cable could be sticking occasionally.would this also cause the vibration? I have the 2009 2lt cdi 4wd. and is it hard to change .
Cheers
hope someone can help

Our Antara does that, it's at speeds of 50+ in 4th 5th or 6th at between 1800-2100rpm.
Had our health check a few days ago and they found that the rear diff has too much play. So they ordered me a new 1 and great thing is it's under warranty so it's foc!

Hope that helps

Btw ours is a 2012 4wd

Might sound daft, but check your wheel nuts, I had some come loose on my last car after they fitted a new tyre.

I called My dealer today and apparently it's going to cost over £2000 to be fixed all under warranty tho, so yeah it's expensive alright lol
