Tow Bar Removal.

Have a tow bar fitted that appears never to have been removed during the life of the car,(08) any advice on it,s removal before it wrecks my shins?

I fitted mine not long ago, there is only about 8 bolts holding it on, and you can access them without removing the bumper quite easily.
