I wont watch Top Gear as long as that idiot Clarkson is on it. I really find him a most annoying person.
I missed it and Sky failed to record it :(

Still, hopefully will be able to 'iplayer' it tonight :)

that's why we pay so much for our tv licence too pay for a hole like Clarkson to pull normal car down
Top Gear is a program of light entertainment and tongue in cheek. It apparently pays for itself when it is sold on. According to Clarkson all I do is moan about fuel prices and murder prostitutes. There are worse programs on BBC, the solution is to switch over or switch off.
It used to be entertaining but I must admit it now seems to revolve around them working out where they can get a great holiday driving cars that not many of us can afford and all at our expense ?

I prefer 5th gearEdited by: Grumps

I've tried to watch it but felt that they just waffled on and I lost interest, especially Vicky butler-Henderson who's laugh goes right through me.
But we all have different views ( and we can't delete yours. Kidding).

I hate Top Gear because of Clarkson as he is rude and arrogant, and a cheater, I only watched it because I thought the Antara was on, I strongly feel the programme does the same old same old it has come to its end, and is rubbish they never show the working mans cars, its all high end cars its pants.
Blimey !!. Top Gear is just a light entertainment show, and should be treated as such. I don`t think it ever intends itself to be seen as a "serious" car reviewing programme. Clarkson can be a real tw#t, of that there is no doubt, but that`s all part of the programme`s popularity, in that people can tune in, and verbally bounce tomatoes and rotten fruit off their T.V Screens, as they watch it !!. Personally, and being a lifelong "Petrol Head", its the only chance I`m going to get of seeing the latest Supercars Road Tested etc, which is the big attraction as far as I`m concerned. Also, whether you like Top Gear or not, don`t forget it`s shown, and sold, practically all around the World, and recoup`s many times it`s original outlay fees for the BBC as a "sales product". The BBC have also sold the "Franchise" to America, who have their own version - Top Gear USA !!. Now, that really is cr#p, as I`ve seen it !!. Lol.
Hi Isaac (very nice name if I might say) I know it's supposed to light entertainment but years ago it was interesting to watch when they did not do all this daft stunt stuff and actually looked at cars, I am really interested in cars and the test results as well as euro m cap test, this might sound strange but I fell if its a car related programme then that's what it should be even 5th gear has lost its way.

Itoo liked ityears ago when it really was about cars, rather than the childish antics of the presenters.

This may surprise you, but I agree !!. I too like to see and hear all of the relevant info on each vehicle, but basically, its a sad indictment on today`s viewing audience, who really just want silly crash, bang, wallop, inane sensationalist drivel, rather than something more constructive and educational. Unfortunately, if Top Gear had tried to maintain it`s "Noel Edmonds" format of times past, it would have disappeared from our screens years ago. Programmes like 5th Gear, have no choice now but to follow the Top Gear "model", or they to will sink without trace. Some of the more obscure car shows on the Satellite/Cable Network are far, far, better these days if you actually want to know a little bit about the cars featured !!.

It might be because when Top Gear was about cars, more of us did our own maintenance and repairs. So it was useful to understand how cars worked and how to maintain them.

These days, the cars are much more complicated and not particularly friendly to home repair for most people. It seems most people just want to put the key in the slot and forget about everything else.
It's that Richard Hammond that does my head in, if he's not sucking up jeremy's big [email protected] he's being so childish you actually want to hit him.

James May I don't mind but agree they get a very good lifestyle with the TV License payers expense. The amount they're paid per episode is a complete joke.
I agree we pay for them to go on holiday in fast car and play ar~es holes
Couldn't agree more with all the anti-Top Gear posts here. Top Sneer is the motoring equivalent of Dung Midden Vids. I watched the one when Clarksonreferred tolorry drivers murdering prostitutes, as you mentionedDilligaf - disgusting. How these scumbags can keep their jobs beats me.
Supercars? You must be joking! A super car is one which is useful 365 days a year, can be thrashed without misfiring, is totally reliable, totally practical, and can use all the public roads in Europe without grounding its £7000 exhaust system. In the 4 seasons. My Antara is a Super Car.

Clarkson and co. are imbeciles. But the maddening thing is that Clarkson trousers over a million pounds a year from our licence fee! The word "crook" springs to mind.
