Hello Guys.

I need to replace my existing car and only have limited funds. Probably £5.5k max.
My criteria is 4x4, diesel, auto, able to tow a caravan.

In that price range Autotrader shows lots of Antera and the Chevy version.

My quick researching so far says that they are unreliable and fuel thirsty.

Can you guys let me know your thoughts on these vehicles please?

Thanks

I had to buy a car to replace my mondeo which I didnt have a problem with for 7 years.

Short answer dont do it I got an antara 61 plate se 4x4 mine had been stood for 6 months garage I got if from "did everything needed " mot ed it and I have had nothing but problems with it alarm keeps going off only getting 30 mpg on a motorway run windscreen wiper problem ( intermittent and rain senser) and its using water. It's been into a Vauxhall recognised repair centre times and they cannot find a fault . Pressure test and sniff test no water leak but a 250 mile motorway trip and a pint to refill it ? I gave had the car 8 weeks and driven it for 3 and things are still not sorted

Been offered my money back but nothing that's any good or the right money.

Buy something different save yourself the hassle
