Hi, I have a 2WD Antara Exclusiv 2014 and use it as a tow car for a caravan.
When I bought it I was amazerd that it didn't have a temperature gauge fitted - only a warning light - which in my opinion is TOO LATE!
I asked the Vauxhall dealer about retro-fitting a gauge when I bought it but they didn't know anything.
Question?

Has anyone retro- fitted a temperature gauge and would it invalidate my Lifetime Warranty?

You could yet a cheap fault code reader that plugs in the diagnostic plug. Most will give you engine info like revs water temp and air intake temp. .

I have just had a look on eBay and you can get a digital readout that will connect to the ebd2 connection.
Just put in ebd2 temp gauge.
The plug is down by your right leg on drivers side

You can check the temp in the testmode, which is a hidden service function. Turn on the radio and turn it down completely. Press the stettings button until you hear a beep in the speakers. Then navigate through various pages by pressing the BC button

If you ask diagnostics.org you may be able to have it displayed permanently instead of range or instant mpg....

Now peace of mind whilst towing!

Unfortunately the touch and connect unit doesn't have the settings button.

Hi there. Just bought a 65 plate vauxhall antara. Bit annoyed that it dosnt show range at all on the car. Even when I do the secret button when you hold down the settings etc when I go threw the pages there is no number next to the range. How do I get range up on my screen permanently instead of tyre pressure. Thabk you

You need to get your BC (Board Control) activated. Either get it done at the dealers or buy OpCom and DIY.
