Hi

I don't know if I am being particularly stupid ... ( no need to comment
)

I am away at the moment and have just had a look at setting up my phone ( which does have Bluetooth capability ) with my 2.2 Diamond.

The car does have Bluetooth fitted and looking at the manual instructions that I have downloaded it says on p75 ...."To open the BLUETOOTH SETUP menu: press the SETUP button and then select the Bluetooth & telephone menu item."

It does not tell me HOW to open the Bluetooth Setup menu.
I cannot locate the Setup button.

This vehicle does not have the onboard computer.

Can somebody point me in the right direction please ?

Are you sure it has BT capability? there are differences between 2012 & 2013 models, not just reg', the actual model build year- even if you have a 13 plate it could still be a 2012 model.

Turn on the engine turn on your Bluetooth on your phone and see if it finds the. Connection if it does then the screen on your phone or the care will ask you to pair
That might help my husbands Chevrolet I think does it that way.
I have the SENAV 184bps Auto the set up is on the SATNAV screen thing were you go into menu go to set up Bluetooth and pair phone to the unite
Hope this helps

Hi Wilma

I downloaded the infotainment manual - this was the reason for my post as I couldn't locate the "Set-up" button as directed in the manual. Away from home at the moment so reliant on internet for information.

Ken I paired both my work phone and Iphone to our Exclusiv FWD

On your steering wheel there is a small knurled swithc left side if you press this and rock from radio station to phone then press swith in it brings up a menu on display.

Select Bluetooth then pair device (make sure phone has bluetooth switched on the sysyem should search and pair up units
You maybe asked to provide pin normally its 0000 or 1234 if all goes ok you should get a audible tone confirming pairing hope this helps

Ken when you have your radio on do you see two tabs at top of screen if so pressing in the rocker and moving up or down should switch from radio to phone only other suggestion would be to give you a shout when next in car and try talking you through set up

Hi Scottyboy

do you see two tabs at top of screen
No.
I have seen this video
I don't get the tabs shown here from 40 seconds - 1 minute
( I know this is a Corsa - but the steering wheel control look the same )

Pressing the scrolled rocker doesn't seem to do anything.

My CD / Radio Unit is a CD30 ..... not sure if this has any bearing at all ?

As far as I'm aware (not 100% on this) the CD30 (2012) antara doesn't have Bluetooth as standard & is an optional extra. The CD40 (2013) antara has it as standard.

I had a feeling that this may be the case.
This car was pre-registered but I was told by 2 sources at the dealers that it had bluetooth.
I think they have some explaining to do if this is the case.
I am going to phone them this morning.
Many thanks for your time and advice.
