I can think of a few reasons, but not sure how to prove any of them.
Up here in Scotland we may be more inclined to go for AWD cars due to the rugged terrain and winter weather.So in any group of buyers of a particular car, there may be a higher proportion of sales in Scotland.
It might also be there are more people buying through the Motability scheme. After all, it is said we in Scotland are not as healthy as the rest of the UK.
Up until the recent price hike, the Antara was a particularly good deal, both in retail and on Motability. And you know how keen we Scots are on getting a bargain.
