Does anyone feel at times that the the SAT NAV at times is a bit slow on the uptake for example telling when to turn or cut off at a junction it just stops speaking the instructions but when you look at the unite it's showing what to do, if you know what I mean, I ended up bloody shouting at it today, wish I could also change the voice she get on your nerves when it does decide to speak
Hi Wilma, have the same problem with my sat nav just as your passing the turning it tells you to turn. Only thing is mine is a tom tom[not fitted]. Went for the best value on motability at the time. The voices I can change and download from tom tom website.
it's that bloody SATNAV
Murphy I have a Garmin as well gave to my husband it was good but at times had the same problem as the one in my Antara a pain in the bum
The one in my car tells me to veer right on two stretches of straight road near where I live. I had a Tom Tom which would direct me through a layby and then back onto the main road. It alsotried to send me into a cul-de-sac on the way into the town of Dingwall. The road in question had not been a through road for more than 30 years.
You just need to be careful with them and not totally trust them.
I love these reports on built in sat-navs. Got my Ant se before they up the price and made them standard. Refused to pay the £1,100 extra and did without.
Yes I think the sat nav is very poor in general I have a tomtom which I had with my other car and I could change the voice, give me instant hold ups ahead and police cameras this one is not worth the money
