Hi All,

Just had my letter from my current Road side recovery company. Having just purchased my lovely new Antara I was on the understanding that it came with a years vauxhall road side recovery.

I cannot find any documentation confirming this.

Cheers

First thing I got from Vauxhall about the free recovery was a letter telling me it was ending and did I want to renew it? It was with the AA, so I binned the letter... and the reminder letter...

Im covered by Mayday(Green Flag) with the Caravan Club and it is very reasonable compared to the others.

Also with Mayday covering both the Antara and Insignia, both self and wife named, costs extremely reasonable with good levels of cover

I think it might be within the text of the car's Service & Warranty booklet? There is certainly no separate paperwork. HTH.

Na hubby bought me my Antara I am applying for PIP (DLA) higher mobility and lower care tried about 4 / 5 years ago for mobility and got turned down the whole thing was a nightmare ( GP says I should apply for it ) I got my blue badge in 2012 through filling a form out belonging to the council and a letter from my GP as my GP thought it was ridicules that I was struggling so much, boy was he right it has made a difference, last April I had to get my bathroom converted into a wet room, and railings for me to get in and out of the house, since then things have just got a hell of a lot worse for me, hence my GP asked if I had applied for DLA or PIP as they call it now, he has referred me for a occupational assessment to see what other aids there is for me, plus he said i gave 20 years service to the profession and I should get something back as well as support, as I had informed him that hubby is taking early retirement after his 55th birthday as I need the help now, so if I get DLA as I know it, (when I help patients to fill there forms in ) it will come in handy to get a scooter, and one of those adjustable beds plus hubby will not have a full pension either so the money will come in handy.
So that's my story I am kind of. Disabled now I cannot walk 5 yards without saviour pain, if you notice some of my posts are during the night as most nights I cannot sleep due to pain and discomfort.

I ordered mineat the end of Maylast year and took delivery 9th of August. When the new price list came out in August it had disappeared from the list. Motability negotiate with the manufacturers every three months to get the best deals. The Antara has disappeared before and come back on.
