My TPMS has been in since I had 4 new tyres on. The mobile tyre fitter has been out twice but couldn’t sort it and wanted ridiculous money to replace sensors. Just seen this post and gave it a try. It’s only gone and worked. I’m made up. Thank you Big John Sparky.

How much do you need to increase or decrease pressure? Mines was right down to 10 psi and still no horn
I let mine down to 28 and then went back up until the horn sounded. It worked perfectly. If you’re using a compressor that comes with the car they’re not always accurate so don’t worry if it shows it’s getting nearer to 40 as it’ll likely be much lower.

It's pretty straightforward once you start the procedure and you don't need a special scanner and you don't have to pay a mechanic or tyre shop to reset it. You just pay for the air unless you can find a 'free air' garage.

Also useful if you rotate your wheels to reset new wheel positions! 👍Edited by: Bigjohnsparky
You never rotate the tyres on a AWD or 4x4

Heard about the guy who put his Antara in for a service and they asked him if he wanted his tyres rotated. He said no, because they rotated every time he drove it.
