rear diff

hi there im new to this. got an antara 2.0 cdti awd I have got some problem with the car and wondering if any one can help.

the problem I have is the rear diff is on its way out I think. there seems to be an awful play and the rattle that comes from the car is quite bad.

I was told that it was the propshaft that the problem was but then told it was the diff. any ideas/suggestions would be very much helpful.

Agree. If you can get a local garage to put it on some ramps, he will be able to tell you if its the prop shaft quite easily and give you a quote. Good luck
