Does anyone know how to lower the rear centre head rest down completely onto the seat back,
or even remove it completely, so it doesn't obscure the view out of the back window when looking
in the rear view mirro for the 99.9% of the time that there there will be no passenger in that seat ?

The head rest is "adjustable, and is released by pressing the little catch on the side of one
of the plastic bases, but it then only moves up and down about 1cm.
It won't come out completely, and it won't go all the way down ??? !

noticed when we got our Antara that the lowest height setting for centre headrest seamed a bit high as you can see in pic below.<br style="margin-top: 0px; color: rgb20, 20, 20; font-family: Tahoma, Georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20.5333347320557px; : rgb249, 249, 249;"><br style="color: rgb20, 20, 20; font-family: Tahoma, Georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20.5333347320557px; : rgb249, 249, 249;">Just looked and following the instructions from manual for removal, also allows you to lower it right down onto the centre seat back<br style="color: rgb20, 20, 20; font-family: Tahoma, Georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20.5333347320557px; : rgb249, 249, 249;"><br style="color: rgb20, 20, 20; font-family: Tahoma, Georgia, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 20.5333347320557px; : rgb249, 249, 249;">Where red arrow is there is a small hole i used watchmakers screwdriver and just prod in there same time as pushing the release at green arrow and allows you to slide head rest right down or remove. It is same principal to remove outer two.

Vauxhall don't seem to have included that little Gem in the Handbook for my 2014 SE NAV !

Mind you, the more I read it, the more I find they have missed things out, or just got them wrong !

Thanks for this info - I adjusted mine today so am now enjoying enhanced rear visibility!
