They are only offering you the reserve price they would take at auction..I recently saw a 60,000 mile 3 year old at auction for £8,500.... Keep looking for a better deal, certainly in December when car sales slow you may get a better offer
Wilma I think that is a fantastic quotation, you have me thinking now as I didn't pay much more than that for my antara..... Ummmm what could I buy instead.......wilma08 said:Just done we buy any car and the offer was £17030 my car was registered 09/05/2013 so try them
Yep as do Glass's but I often find these prices are just in an ideal world, something like we but any car is 'almost' real money and provides more scope for serious negotiations with a dealer, especially when you don't have to change, but they want to sell - I never keep a car for more than 18 to 24 months and I always change when I feel I would be stupid not to.Drivingmad said:JR, Autotrader have a valuation service on their website for a few pounds which will give an accurate valuation over various vending scenarios.
I don't know if I should tell you as I was informed from a fellow forum member that anything I say is insignificant and not worth whileDrivingmad said:Have you used webuyanycar Wilma?
You taking the piss to am not talking go on the site and seeDrivingmad said:How does it work? Do you get a price subject to inspection, or what? Do you get a cheque for your car? It seems too good to be true! By the way, Wilma I've been meaning to ask, is your avatar a true likeness ?
You had better said that as that's my lovely daughter and her dog ,Drivingmad said:Hi Wilma, I am not taking the p---. I think you deserve an award for so many posts!
My search engine came up with we buyanycar.com.scam. One lady said that they should wear striped jerseys. Many said don't go near.
Anyhow it is academic for me as I shall be keeping Antie for a not inconsiderable time.
Like the new avatar - a def. improvement!
