Hi all,As a newbie can I ask why when a new post is added to a topic it automaticaly goes to the back not the front. This means that you go to the topic and then have to scroll down thelist or go to the last page and then scroll down. As I say I am new, but am I missing something here would't it be easier if it entered the topic at the front/top of the list?

There's usually a sort option somewhere in the forum preferences, but I don't see one on here.
I think I prefer it this way. If you have newest first, you have to scroll down to find the last unread thread so that you can read the threads in the order they were posted.

The thing that annoys me a little is when you click on the "go to first unread thread" arrow, you are often taken to the wrong page.

Most forums I use and have worked on work are this way.

When checking for new posts you can click the new post number to go straight to the new posts.

When you click on new posts the list should have the number of new posts listed since the last time you looked as per my picture below. Just click the number and you will be taken to the first new post.
