Having had a strange noise coming from the clutch/gearboxrecently and having great problems getting any sense out of anybody to get it fixed, coupled up with the DPF and the fuel consumption, I wondered if it might be time for me to part company with the Antara......Given that it's a 62 plate 163 Exclusive with 9,000 miles on the clock I wondered what it would be worth.
I happened to be passing a Hyundai garage this morningand saw a new Santa Fe at a reasonable price, went in spoke to the salesman and got offered £12,000 for the Antara..Not sure what to think really but then I only paid £18,400 when it was new so it could have been worse I suppose hadI paid the list price of £23,000 plus

The jury is out on this deal at the moment

I'm sorry to hear your having problems, I've done 9,000 in my 12 reg with no problems at all. It might seem a daft Question but have you tried to take it to another dealer as it seems a lot of money to lose.Andy

Didn't accept their "kind "offer and am currently waiting for trading standards to sort out my bearing problem. Then who knows, must admit to not being right happy at the moment
