Bought my Antara exclusiv 2wd in June 2012,Joined this owners club in Oct 2013, and have stalked its forums ever sinse, with the result that I have resolved the problem of no spare for £160.00 instead of paying vx over inflated prices for a next to u/s space saver wheel, and I now have cruise control for £44.28.
Back to the car, costs a furtune in diesel, more notches in the manual gear box than on Wyatt Earps gun,but that aside its the best car I've ever had, love it to bits. Tows 1500kg of caravan like a dream.

A notchy gearbox must be a vauxhall trademark, because every one i have owned (astra's vectra's and now the Antara) have all been the same, not too bad when they get warmed up but still not great.

Never noticed gearbox to be particularly notchy that said most of the cars I've had have been vauxhall's maybe I've just got used to them ? Try driving an Austin maxi or Renault 5 now they truly had awful gear changes !
