Anybody wanting to change their oil on the Antara, have a look on Eurocarparts at the moment. They have 25% off plus a free oil filter when you purchase oil.

I have just picked up 4 litres of Petronas low sulpher synthetic oil suitable for the Antara and filter for under £20.00 all in, including free delivery.

I know the Antara is 6 litres of oil, but I have 2 litres left from the last change
. I only changed my oil 6 months ago, but for under £20.00, it is worth doing early to protect the engine.

Even if you need the full 6 litres, you can pick up 8 litres of new oil and two filters delivered for under £40.00 This shows how much the dealers are ripping you off when they charge for an oil change.

FYI, you need to put in the discount code on their website in your shopping basket for the 25% discount to be taken off.

Could anyone tell me if Castrol Edge is suitable for the Antara - http://castroledge.com/oil-range/5w-40

According to the handbook Dexos 2 oil is specified, the Castrol site says their Edge product exceed Dexos 2 industry standard and is suitable for GM / Opel / Vauxhall

Thanks
