I never use any type of tyre/exhaust garage for an MOT. They will rip you off. If you can,go to an independent MOT station that does not fix cars. They will MOT your car,as it should be as they don't have a vested interest.

Guaranteed to find faults no other garage will find same as kwik fit, well documented on internet.NT said 6 months ago I needed new exhaust, car passed mot last month no advisory.

I think kwik fit has a MOT fail rate of 75% - cheap MOTs, expensive repairs.

Just had a tyre repaired at my local national. Car came out of workshop with abs, traction control, hill decent and 4x4 warning lights all on. On telling them it wasn't like that when it came in, response was nothing to do with us repairing a tyre won't do that?

They then hooked it to there diagnostic reader, to the result of "your rear diff clutch is deactivated,we didn't touch that".

After a quick visit to our local auto electrician,' rear wheel speed sensor fault on the wheel they have had off.

Nationals response: " complain to head office if you want you can't prove it was our fault, repairing a tyre won't do that".

Tyre repair £20 paid up front before they took car keys!

Repair to car £245 for complete rear hub with sensor as there was no guarantee they hadn't damaged the abs speed ring.

From my experience I won't use them again or advise anyone to go anywhere near

I trtied them once as Aviva had given me 50% off MOT's at National Tyres. My car failed on emmissions, so I drove it straight back to my local garage and it passed.
That says everything.

I had tracking done car came out worse as steering wheel was 1/4 turn off when going in straight line, took them 3 attempts to correct it & car still pulls & scrubs tyres. This was on one of their 50% off deals.
