Hi Adrian and welcome to the club

I don't have a SatNav so I cannot provide any insight into how you can change the settings however the text below is taken from the Mokka Owners Club when someone asked the same question. I would imagine that the two systems will be very similar if not the same but I will leave it to you to work out what the answer actually means

The way I managed to change it is by doing it through the DIC. Think its on the car icon page, scroll through to where you can adjust the units setting and set it to miles in there. I know this is for the display in the middle of the dash but also worked on my sat nav screen. If I remember rightly I had to put it on another one first and then back to miles.

Press the SETUP button and choose NAVIGATION. Then scroll down to where you will see an option for DISTANCE UNITS. Pressing that option will toggles between KM and Miles.

You may need to switch off and back on for the change in voice to take place.

Just out of interest what are people's thoughts on the sat nav and maps? My car is on a 13 plate and the maps are very out of date, over 3 years old, are there updates available?

I have a 13 plate and so far every where I've been has showed up correct on sat nav, so dont know if I am just lucky with it or not. The only road that I've found not on the map was one that only opened to traffic about same time I picked car up so cant complain about that, I just wished the sat nav was in a higher position i.e. change the trip computer round with sat nav.

Thanks - yes awful positioning of the sat nav.

I have asked the dealer and they have told me to speak to Vauxhall. Will see what they have to say but getting closer and closer to buying a TomTom as not impressed with the sat nav at all.

Had my SE for 2 days so possibly response is a bit premature but also not very impressed with sat nav in any respect. I will hang on to my TomTom just in case.

I pick my SE NAV up at the end of this month but I have wondered at the thought process that went into positioning the device where it is.

I presume that there is audio directions and warnings on the NAV system so there isn't that much requirement to be constantly looking at it?

I have more or less given up on the Antara SatNav and bought a newGarmin Nuviwith freelifetime map updates. The cost of map updates for the Antara is more than the cost of a good stand alone unit.

I just couldn't get on with the Antaraunit in its present position.

The Antara unit does have audio directions, but I found it gets a bit confusing in places with lots of junctions or side roads. It's not always clear whichturn is next left/right. Without the eye line view of the map I found it a little difficult to use at times.

The other thing is the Antara unit doesn't have as many features as a stand alone unit.

Well I have the per Nav Se but I paid extra to have a Clarion head unit fitted with sat nav and I can safely say its also useless. I wouldn't trust it as far as I can throw it so its not just the new unit.

To check version on SE NAV go into hidden menu.

With system switched on, press and hold in the setup button. Then the RH rotary switch (Z- Z+ one) rotate 4 clicks anticlockwise, 4 clicks clockwise then 4 clicks anticlockwise and a new menu will appear. Use the return button bottom right to come out of bits after you have looked in them.

You can then check which version number you have

I bought my SE Nav new last March and went to the Alsace region of France via Belgium and Luxembourg without a single wrong turn. My map programme is from 2012 according to the system details. Anytime I have used it wherever I go has never been a problem.
