I've just got back from a weekend away in my Motor-home - stayed in strathclyde park caravan club and made that our base. Went all over from there - over to LockWinnoch and Muirsheil - throughly enjoyable.

One thing that struck me whilst we were there was that I must have seen about 45 Antara driving around - 90% of which were White. I saw two black and One Smoke grey - that was it. Got back into England and saw one Antara. It was black.

Not sure what it means but it was very apparent that white was the common colour of choice in Scotland.

White is MUCH easier to keep clean looking than black. Scotland's roads will also see much more salt throughout the year than down most of england- salty roads and black cars don't mix!!

Mines white!
Plus black marks easy, we purchased a new vauxhall Vectra SRI some years ago and traded it in 4 weeks later it was one of the worst cars ever for marks and showing up swirl marks after getting washed. We always said we would never get black again but we did

Needless to say the Chevrolet Captiva seems to be the best black car we have had it is metallic black with peril sparkly bite's plus we paid extras for diamond bright stuff. The car is a one year old now and still looks good or else back to the dealers for a different colour

But I love my white car that's three white one's I have had, plus my dear husband keeps them looking good

Here in Vigo - well, actually I am not in Vigo at the moment but in Oostende - but in Vigo they are as rare as hens' teeth. I have one (smoke grey), a friend has one (black) and I have seen one other (smoke grey) about town.
Rare? Yes, but who would want a car everyone else has?

That was one of the reasons I bought the Antara was it was supposed to be rare.
