Hi guys,
I was wondering who has the Vauxhall mudflaps fitted to there antara? Do they help keep the car cleaner for longer?

Thanks Jason

I have them but I have had hem since new so I can't say if they work or not. All I can say is the back doesn't get as dirty as my Zafira which didn't have mud flaps got.

I would say they are worth it even to stop stone chips etc.
They stop some of the mud getting on the car, but not all. They do make the car look better in my opinion.
I put four on as an aftermarket accessory. The don't make much difference in keeping the car clean, but look very good.
I have the genuine Vauxhall ones, I personally find that they keep a lot of general road dirt off the sides and back. I also agree that they finish the car of nicely and the colour matches the rest of the trim.

I fitted them myself, £40 from a Dealers ebay store and took about 30 mins and only a socket set needed.
How easily (or not) are these fitted?
Easy to fit they use the existing screws(7mm socket required) the fronts come with a clip each as well , just put full lock on for easy access when fitting the fronts. The rears are just the 3 screws, 20 mins job done.😉

Just as I'd thought Johnno55, thanks for the info. That's them ordered now, cheers!

Fitted the full set of mudflaps in 30 minutes at work last night (quiet night
), complete doddle. Not sure how much difference they will make but they are on now and enhance the vehicle IMO. Well chuffed with them!

Nice one. I will recognise your Antara not many white ones in the area have mud flaps except my one.

They look good on a white Antara,
However you still get some dirt/mud coming up from the front wheels onto the wings/doors?

Well worth the investment

Agreed, they do look good, so if they also protect the bodywork in anyway too then they will prove to be a great purchase.

Nope. My previous post was 'initially' a clue.

Really you had me worried it might be DFC OR DUFC but after your clue I'm with you
I'm just hope your not one of those that feel cheated.

I can't say I have seen any unusual regs about here.
