Hi Lawrence,

This is interesting, my Antara has HID lamps fitted as standard, but I am looking at fitting them to another car. I found this site http://www.sinspeed.co.uk/are-xenon-hid-conversion-kits-road-legalwhich has some interesting facts. If your diamond has the same headlight units as the SE then it should not be a problem, although the SE also self levels etc and has washers. As to legality, like many things it appears to be just waiting for a court ruling.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Spoke to the electricians in Worksop the owner said after 2010 electrics get more sophisticated so not all kits will work.

They are willing to let me try a test kit for free to see if they work ok if no problems its around £55 for a quality kit.

They do different lumens and colours
