Hello from Beautiful North Wales.
We have a new diesel automatic (no idea what model!) with a hoist fitted for a mobilty scooter. After a very long wait, ordered in December arrived in May after a long time on a ship! The long wait was nothing to do with having the hoist fitted , they did that in 2 hours.

We have a trendy white one - or at least we are told it's trendy! We like it anyway.

Hi to beautiful North Wales from more beautiful Scotland sounds like your car was on the same boat as mine, I ordered mine December 18th 2012 and got mine on 9th May 2013 mine is SENAV 184 bps Automatic in white with charcoal leather, do you enjoy your car, I love it and so does the family being automatic helps with my mobility problems.

Well, we were enjoying the new car until yesterday. The cruise control stopped working, so it's back to the garage with it to-morrow. Hopefully, they can fix it quickly and this will be the last problem we have for a long time!


My husband also has mobility problems and it's taken a long time for me to persuade him to go for an automatic. He finds the automatic really useful and is generally very pleased with the car.

What a shame is this your first problem with your car?
I bet your hubby is glad you persuaded him lol as when you have back, leg and feet problems it takes the pressure off using the clutch.

Phew!

Turned out the cruise problem was due to a button. Fixed within an hour.
