Hi,

My name is Johnny and I have just registered on this forum.
I found it as I was looking for information on when my car would be shipped.

Firstly though, just to stress I am not an actual 'owner' as such, so hope that is okay for the forum.

My son is autistic and has severe learning difficulties, hence we qualify for a car on the Motability Scheme.
Our last 3 year period expired in March, we had a Nissan Qashqai, so we ordered our new car in December.
The dealer told us there would be a delay in delivery.

We chose the Antara for several reasons, price *you have a down payment to make on the scheme*, comfort, room, specifications, engine size and just the fantastic look of the car.

I collected it yesterday from our dealer - it is a White SE NAV 2.2 AWD 184bps with Charcoal Leather interior.
It looks fantastic, my son is unable to speak due to his disabilities, however my wife brought him to the front door when I arrived home and his smile said it all!

I hope I like it as much now as I do when the winter weather arrives.

Thanks for reading.

Johnny

Hi Johnny Boy, welcome to the forum. You will not regret choosing the Antara, and great colour choice too....!!! There are many guys here who have their Antaras on the Mobility Scheme......and all seen as owners........Just enjoy your Antara and keep that smile on your sons face !!!

Hi Jonny, welcome to the forum and you're not the only one that isn't yet driving their car yet. I'm in the same position, ordered mine in February and it's due for delivery in a few weeks. Indeed, it could actually be sat in Royal Portbury as we speak as the Tomar arrived early this morning (6:30) with cars from Incheon on it.

Just waiting for the call to tell me when now.

Trying not to get to excited but losing that battle.

Hi Jonny, welcome to the forum, as one of the previous messages stated there is quite a few of us on here who got there Antara through the motability scheme. Hope your little boy enjoys the trips out in the Antara as much as I do in mine.

Hi Johnny Boy and welcome to the forum. Nice to have another member from south of the border
Unfortunately we're still outnumbered. ?
On a serious note, it doesn't matter how you got your Antara but that you enjoy it. They are a very good bunch of folks on here and very helpful.
