Hi,

Has anybody encounter a problem with headlight bulbs?


I always replace them in pairs and so far am on my 4th pair...


Sometimes one goes however I have had both go at the same time and if anybody has had to replace one, they will also know that it is no longer a job that can performed at the roadside (unless you can to take the front grille off and totally remove both headlights) which beats me...


Think it's time vauxhall had a look at the Antara...

Are you buying quality bulbs?

And I agree to replace is a nightmare

Apparently Halfords charge something like £6 to fit headlight bulbs. We had a Megane II before this & they are a real pain to change. Many people on the Renault forums were letting Halfords change them!!

Think it's time vauxhall had a look at the Antara...

I have changed a headlight bulb on my Antara and found removing the grill an headlamp quite a good way to do it. I prefer this to getting cut hands and wrists trying to squeeze my hands down the back of the headlight in an impossibly small space. On top of this doing it blind as you can't see what you are doing. (ashad to be done onmost of my recent cars)
