Green upshift light

Does anyone know the if any models of antara have the green upshift indicator on the rev counter that work. I have a 2011 2.2 and was fairly sure when I bought it that it worked, unfortunately a short while later I had trouble with the engine managment light coming on. I had the work done under warranty but the light doesn't work, when you read the handbook it makes reference to it working but after researching the forum people say it doesn't work. Can anyone clarify please.
