Hi to all, took delivery of a 2013 SE 163 on Monday. Traded in a 2010 Captiva against it. This is my first "Vauxhall", I was attracted by the warranty and the looks of the Antara over the 2013 Captiva. I have ordered side-steps from JSG will try to fit them myself. I hope that I have a long and happy time with my car. I am a car fanatic, I also have: 2012 Audi A4 Black Edition, 2003 BMW 320 Cabriolet, 2002 MG ZS Stepspeed and a 2000 Subaru Legacy B4 RSK! I hope to take an active part in the forum.

Hi Evo, congratulations on collecting your shiny new Antara and welcome to the forum

I look forward to hearing your analysis of the Antara compared to the Captiva, since they are widely described as being "sisters".

That is quite a list of cars that have you have at home, it seems that you can drive a particular car for a particular mood or occasion.

Enjoy your Antara

Hi everyone. Grumps I live in Alloa, my car came from Peter Vardyin Perth. I have noticed that the Antara has a firmer ride than the Captiva. When I had the Captival I had the DPF and CAT removed, the car was also mapped, it must have produced 210 - 220 BHP. The Antara feels very slow in comparison, I hope it will be better when it has done more miles. I know for the Vauxhall warranty I cannot do the same as I did with the Captiva! At present I am fitting JSG sidesteps, one is already on, I will fit the other tomorrow.

Oh when I wrote the above I forgot to say that my car club, Stirling and District Classic are running a show on Sunday 19th Mayin Bridge of Allan. I will be there with my Subaru. If any of you are there say hello. Entry is only £5 and there will be over 600 cars on show!

Hi Samson, what colour and trim did you go for. Those of us that are still waiting for delivery are very jealous of you Antara drivers at the moment.

Ahh well, only got to wait until the end of May now!

Welcome to the club.
