The computer "range" is a live, in-situ calculation of the estimated miles left based on your current driving statistics.
That 400 may well go up as you drive, so long as you drive steady. If you were to go & put your foot to the floor everywhere, it would go down as the computer evaluates all the values/parameters in real time.
I wouldn't worry about it.
