No worries Howard, it may only be 2 bolts to remove the headlamp, can't remember (old age) but here's some pics that may help.
Grill plastic screws (yes I dropped the middle one - now missing)... 11 of these lil' suckers - they're only push in screw clips...

Headlamp Bolts (maybe two or three)... think its only two, but you need the grill off to extract the unit...

If you buy smd led bulbs bright white they look brill
Yip you only need to remove the 2 bolts to remove the headlamp.
great post by paulfs68, excellent. However, take into account that after the change you may need to level the headlights, a tricky operation itself :)
But your bolting them back into the same position as they was before, your not touching the leveller.
The leveller will be in the sealled unit so Pondpaul is correct, you wont need to do any levelling! I havent had a bulb out yet touch wood! i would like to upgrade my lights but probably get the brighter lights from halfords once mine have popped!
Will brighter bulbs damage or burn the reflectors Kristoff t
You mean replacing your sidelight with an led type?Edited by: John B
Depends on what you buy, you can usually go up to 100w without any issues and any led lights will be OK.

There is actually 3, 1 is under the grill/facia.
There are 2 different size plastic fittingson the radiator cover. Noticed when I changed my bulbsthat some were damaged and a pain to remove. Anyone know the sizes as they are different and I want to put new ones in.
They're called plastic push rivets, best way to remove them if they don't screw out is to use a carpet tack lifter under the head while you unscrew them. They come in sizes from 6mm to 9mm, they sell them on Ebay for just over a fiverhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-OPEL-Bumper-Exterior-Trim-Wheel-Arch-Black-Plastic-Push-Rivets-/221441526108?hash=item338ef1895c:g:8f0AAOxy5rpSQGeP
Victor I know they come in different sizes and where to get them which is why I am asking what size are the ones for the radiator cover?
LED sidelights and Night Breaker headlights just recently fitted to my Antara, no issues and well worth the upgrade, just make sure you get canbus LED's

To my recollection the sizes are 6mm and 8mm for the Antara but I'm not sure. In the event of no one confirming the correct sizes then at £5.95 for a bag of 20 which includes some of each size from 6mm to 9mm you will find out and probably have a few left over for a rainy day..

Not much good getting 5 each of 4 different sizes when I will need 8 all the same size
