After playing around with the video capabilities of my stills camera and phone, I decided to get a proper video camera.
This is my first video using the new camera. The subject is the Cromarty Ferry at Nigg in Easter Ross.

PS: This video may not work on mobile devices.

Had another go at making a video with my new camcorder this morning. This time it's of me cutting the hedge in my garden. So the fat guy hamming it up in the video is me.
If I hadn't already retired I would have said I shouldn't give up the day job.

Poppy the black lab has a bit part near the end.

I sometimes feel a dump truck would be better.

I have about 1000 feet of hedging. It used to be over 2 metres high, but I found it too hard to reach, so I took the chainsaw to it and cut it down to the height you see in the video. It usually takes me about a month to six weeks to get it finished. I can only do about half an hour at a time, and that includes clearing up the clippings after I've cut some hedge. At least it only needs cutting once a year.
