Fault Code Socket - Cover or no cover

Hi all,I guess the title says it all, just been giving Antara his annual pre holiday clean and discovered that the socket under the bonnet release handle has no cover.
Should it have one and if it should can I return the car as 'unfit for purpose' even after two years.

Could you return the car as unfit for purpose for a 1 inch plastic cover missing, not a chance ever, you would get laughed at but luckily to save you all the hassle it doesn't have a cover..

Thanks SJG,I will stand down the legal team on your advice, and stop worrying about the missing cover.

No Wilma I really thought I had lost the cover and I am amazed that there isn't one. My MX5 socket has a cover and as at least one pin is 12v live it certainly should be covered up.
Ah you mean the legal team ........
