A couple of days ago as usual 1mile from home a re-gen started so back to the by-pass for the usual 2500 revs 4th gear road trip and as usual again it finished 200 yards past an exit (every time !!) anyway as I was burning diesel and saving the planet I tried to turn on the a/c but nothing happend everything else seemed to work ok, after the re-gen had completed it took about 3/4 miles for the a/c to work on pressing the button. Has anyone else noticed/had this ? Just interested.

As far as I know there’s no reason why the AC should be inhibited during a DPF regen. Matter of fact I kept the AC switched on with the blower at high speed and as much other electrical equipment like the heated rear screen on to increase the load on the engine during DPF regens.
