difference between 163 and 184 bhp engines/setup

I was also wondering as I would expect a bit more for my £1000 extra. Especially when you can get an upgrade to 207Bhp for only £360
I suspect they increase engine strut strengthening etc to take in to account the extra torque. Would be good to know though.
