That's not good. Any damage to your car is bad its even worse since its so new and the cretin drove off.

Hopefully the police will get them so you don't lose your no claims.

I'm pretty sure the bumper will be repairable these guys do wonders with them but if the police do catch the person its probably better to get a new one but that might take time.

When my Antara was in for its service there was a antara sitting in the compound with front end damage bumper,grill etc and the guy I was speaking to said they had been waiting nearly 3 months!!!!!!

yes 3 months on the parts.

So probably quicker repairing it.

I had a faulty rear quater window and it took 6 weeks to arrive, but back in them days the antara was a very rare sight.
Just to let you know, I feel for ya mate, I'd be really p***ed off if that happened to me.

I'm sorry to hear that Jr123, it seams that the quality of driving standards are getting worse. My wife got cut up twice yesterday on 40 mile home trip from her mother's, one so severe that she had to save herself her kids and car from hitting a post. Thank god they're all ok.
I truly hope you get them as it always seams to be the innocent that suffer for their negligence.

It's just the same everywhere lack of respect and patients on the road, I have been cut up so many times going round roundabouts, cars going through red lights and even going into my own driveway, it had got so bad my husband had to widen the opening to the driveway and buy bigger gates. it terrible I have even but cut up by learner drivers with there in structures present, so what does that say in the level of teaching.
But someone hitting your car and not saying anything is below the belt, I even know how it feels because it happened to me many many years ago , Hope the police do something, it's the costs in getting the car fixed yourself or through the insurance company, blinking terrible.Edited by: wilma08

Joking aside, I used to have a vectra and one day coming out of asda I saw an old woman with all her shopping on my car bonnet while she was opening her boot, tins and all, I went ballistic....
