I know the cdmp30mp3 head unit is capable of supporting an aux in, but only having a 2009 S model the auxiliary plug is not in the center storage box, I wondered if anyone knew, is the wiring under there, so a plug can be added or is there no wiring to the head unit and will have to be run to it.

Guess not. I know a lot of cars have the wiring to a device, but the device is not fitted....

I'm sure I have read on some vx forums that if you do a google search you should find places that will take your head unit and modify it for you.

But when you consider the cost and hassle it might be worth swapping it for something better.

Have look at the ice section and you will find some info on aftermarket head units etc.
