Bonnet wont shut properly

Nothing stuck in it is there? Sounds obvious but seen it before.

Also try and release the locking mechanism and grease it up a little.

Don't drive faster than 30 as you will have a bonnet through your windscreen!
With the bonnet open pull the release leave inside the car. Shut bonnet. If this doesnt work ask someone to pull and hold the leaver open and then close bonnet and hold down hard and then get the other person to let the leaver go
I have a 2007 model and had this. The bonnet catch just needed working in an out with a screw driver whilst dripping 3in1 oil on it. Been fine since.

I have since been to a local garage and they have said I need a new cable fitting. Any idea on costs of this. I'm a bit scared to go to the dealer for fear of a huge bill!!!
