I appreciate there has been a lot of talk on here about specific ECU modifications however I am wanting to know what the overall best ECU modification is
;
Superchip direct ECU modification (Approx £400)
Bluefin automatic install DIY (Approx £350)
Superchip (Range from £108 - around 300)
Custom ECU remap
Any others worth mentioning

I am looking specifically to increase the MPG and hopefully a bit quicker but mainly MPG. If anyone has an Auto I would be appreciative of any realisitic motorway figures you achieve from your modification.

Thanks,

Phill

All engine and ecu mods will invalidate your warranty. Thorney motor sport claim that they will cover any fault caused by their tuning on the same basis as vauxhall's warranty.
If they can prove it
That would suggest an outright remap is out then. So focussing now on reversible options such as Bluefin and SuperChip etc.

True, but if you were involved in an rtc and are unable to remove it then you could have problems if vehicle taken to a Vauxhall dealer.

Very true, when you look it at that. Would still be worth knowing the information though
