Hi Guys,

I happened to stumble across this deal on Amazon which is a good saving on the normal asking price.


I haven't used these particular products myself but if they are similar to the other Autoglym products that I have used, they will be well worth the asking price.

That's a good price and a very good kit if you want to try Claying your car. You will be amazed at what it does.

Btw John I thought you had bought one of those kits already.

This is the time of year you should use it.

Can recommend and a decent price. I just got a new one from Halfords, not sure if they still have the offer on but were doing 3 for 2 so picked up 3 of the different Autoglym packages that they do for around £40.

I too can recommend this, claying does take a while mind!

Claying the car is hard work and the SRP is abrasive so don't use it too often.

All car potions with the word 'polish' in them are abrasive and are for restoration, not for regular use. Each time they're used they grind off another layer of paint. Once the hard protective clear coat has gone, that's it.

The SRP is not a wax, it is an abrasive polish and silicone resin sealant.
There are much finer polishes than SRP but without silicone so fresh paint can be sprayed down, these require a separate paint sealant afterwards.
AG "High Definition Wax" will produce a stunning finish.

I think the individual kit components can be bought for less, certainly in larger bottles.
