Well that's the car had its first long drive going down to Download (Castle Donington ) the car drove beautifully averaging 37 miles to the gallon doing 70 mph when hubby was driving 75 mph when I was driving, arrived at hotel on Thursday afternoon no hassle, got down on half tank diesel absolutely brill using the eco driving to Download 21 miles there and 21 miles back to hotel averaging the same but driving back to the hotel on Friday night a stone flew up and hit the windscreen and a bloody big chip on passenger side, got in touch with insurence then auto windscreen could not do the job until today (blinking rubbish) so coming on Saturday to the house to fix, terrible service ?
as just home at 17:30pm today.
Anyway getting out from Download last night was a blinking nightmare waiting for about hour to get out of car park then then stop start diversion rubbish ended up diverted by 20 miles extra to hotel destination
.
Today sat nav took me back the way bye about 25/30 miles M6 toll, I filled the car up yesterday cost about £70 my averaging was down to 30/33 mph as there was to accidents on the M6 a mile apart stand still for about 1hour turned off engine but all I have left from a full tank from yesterday is 66miles and in the red still us,ing the Eco.
Do not know if any regens took part, this car's cruise control is good the car moves well and is a comfortable responsive drive, the tyres are good and absorbed the bumps set at 36.5 psi they also break well or should I say grip well when breaking heavy and fast in both dry and wet weather.
Although the sat nav is in an awkward position it worked fine only grip is no camera warnings or speed warnings (have to learn how to down load these me thinks) it picked up a lot of roundabouts and traffic problems.
I think this car is really good and comfortable but unless the route is clear cut, it can eat the fuel as shown from last night and through today with the start stop and idling.
Otherwise no grips really good car that moves and handles excellently.

I agree about the sat nav position actually, it's too low down.

Must admit the computer is saying I am doing around 33mpg on the motorway in ECO mode, the other week is was close to 39. Really smooth ride and quiet also.
Maybe it is DPF (not sure how I can tell?).

If you take your foot off the accelerator while in gear and you get around 70mpg instead of 999.9 then you are probably doing a regen. Also if you find the ECO engine start-stop is not working and if the gallons-per-hour figure while idling is around 0.7-0.9 instead of 0.1-0.3

Thanks - even on an automatic?
