A couple of weeks ago we were travelling on the A1 and all of a sudden our Antara decided to take off under its own steam and would not stop, I managed to stop the engine and I don't think at any point it over revved.
So now if I start it back up its misfiring terrible, its clear the turbo has failed and has been passing oil, a few people I know have said replace the turbo and clean all the pipes and intercooler etc and it will be fine......

What are peoples thoughts?
