I have heard about cutting up an appleand leaving it overnight. Haven't tried it myself so can't confirm if it works or not.

Found this site!!!!

I was told that if you cut an onion in half and leave it out it can remove odours (Mainly paint I was told)

smiffy07 Thanks, I'll give the Apple trick a go!

I've managed to clear a lot of the smell by giving the car a thorough cleaning etc. There still is a slight smell but I think that might be because I still need to have a go at cleaning the headlining and re-treat the leather seats. Also...can anyone suggest a remedy to get the smoke smell out of a steering wheel?!

smiffy07 Smell is starting to lift a little now...with leather wipes on the seats, Fabreeze etc. Car bomb arrives tomorrow so hoping that will do the trick.

Also have new car mats on the way as it didn't have any!

But so far really loving the Antara. Think I made a good choice!

smiffy07 Thanks all...I'm picking the car up this afternoon. The dealer said they would try and work to getting rid of the smell but I sceptical they will try that hard!!

Lazarus Having seen and smelled the results on my step-son's joint-smokey 53 Hyundai Coupe, I'd be tempted to pay for a professional valet service. Tell them your problem and that you want it gone away ...
