Hello, I've just got my Antara today and I was wondering if there's a way to remove the front badge. I prefer the whole black look with just the black grill.

Hi and welcome
Why not use wire wool on chrome bits to give it a key then spray the whole front grill Matt black if that's the look you like

I wouldn't do that because I want to save the badge just in case. I've been trying to find a way on the internet but I can't find anything even related to this.

I think you will find that the badge is stuck on and trying to remove it will damage it

I think there is a lot of plastic on the front, so the type of paint to be used needs careful consideration. I don't know if you can etch prime a chromium finish on a plastic substrate, although if the paint is water based a PVA type primer might work on hard yet flexible surfaces, but it is a gamble.

Irmscher made the grill for the series 1 and the series II Antara. Looks like the series II still has a chrome bade though.

Thank you very much for you feedback. I know about irmscher and the reviews say that they are very solid on their parts but personally i think that 200 pounds for a grill is way to much. I could have one custom made for that price. I'll wait though until I finish with the little details that I have in mind. Thank you again
