Hello all, I am buying a 2.0 CDTi , and my question is , I use it at my holiday home and it may sit for 2 months when away . I normally disconnect the battery on my old car. If I disconnect battery on the Antara, can I manually lock all the doors ?
Thank you from a newbie !

If you disconnect the Antara battery for a long period you run the risk
of problems with the electronics when you reconnect it eg
immobiliser, ECU, BCM and Radio codes, especially if there's a voltage
spike. You'd be much safer to leave the battery connected and get one of
those solar battery chargers to keep it charged up. I believe you can
still lock the car with the kry even with the battery connected but save
the alarm drain.
