My 2013 2.2l CDTi does the same. When cruising at about 70mph the engine warning lights come on & i suffer a small loss of power. If i stop & switch the engine off then on again, the warning lights go off. Very strange & irritating, especially when on the motorway. Any ideas?

I'm guessing when you turn the ignition off it resets the fault. But really you need to sort the root cause as it will more than likely get worse. I guess a code reader would be a good start, clear the codes then take for a drive and when it re-occurs recheck the codes and hopefully that may give you a clue to the problem. Richy

Just been having a look on Youtube and on Vauxhalls their is something called a pedal test. You put the key in the ignition (dont turn yet), depress the brake and accellerator pedels and hold them down then turn the ignition on with the key and your display between the clocks should read the ECU fault codes (assuming their are some). This doesn't work on my car but it may not have any fault codes.
They dont last long on the display so might be worth recording on your phone. You only need the first 4 digits on the display.
Can you guys let me know if this works on your Antara please. Richy

It sounds to me like it's not getting enough fuel.

Have you had the fuel filters changed?

I also get this, I drive on motoeway, or in town, the engine management light comes on, small loss of power, then back again, took it to my mates garage, got it on computer, and cleared codes, a few weeks later, it happened again, I am now told, it might be something to do with some sort of flaps or something at the front of the engine? I'm not sure if that's right.

You need to get the fault code and take it from their. Clearing the codes doesn't resolve the problem because the fault will keep recurring. Get the code and see what it says, then get some advise on what could be the root cause. Richy
