Hi all,
I own a Diesel 2.2 WAD CDTI 2013 Antara. From new it has always and only been serviced and worked on by my local Vauxhall dealer. I have a noise that sounds like some using a powered sandpaper drill to quickly touch, on and off, a piece of wood. It increases and decreases, dependant on speed of the car. Took it into dealer yesterday. Mechanic said he heard noise. Everything underneath was checked, bearings, wheels etc. All the was found was a split pin that seemingly was wrongly fitted. I was then told now okay. 150 yards from garage, took car back as noise still there.
Was told should come back when Covid-19 was over and they could do more in depth testing. Now very worried.
Any ideas. The car does not have any sign of oil leaks underneath, and where I park overnight is always clean.
Anyone got any ideas please.
