Hi everyone, just received my new towbar and dedicated electrics kit (Diy) for my Antara 2.2 Exclusive 2015 from ph jones, looking for help with the electrics please, where to start.

It plugs in under neath at the rear .passanger side there is a plug .fix to tow bar first fix wire in place with cable ties .then plug in take the other wire under the car to the front battery side and fix to both sides of battery the instructions are pretty good from Jones

thanks for your reply, the split charger wire that goes to the battery ie; the brown and red go into two inline fuse holders, red 15amp, brown 7.5amp out of these comes one red wire which goes to the battery positive only. As per the instructions i take it that you disconect only the negative before starting the work, and only need to re-code the radio when all done.

The one I have comes up to front one set of wires go to a relay then a fuse to pos + .the other wire is white and goes neg_.there is only one fuse .which kit did you get was it part number 29500566rc .from pfjones at 118Edited by: swinton

I recently fitted wiring to mine , I didn't disconnect the battery , I just got two 10mm nuts & fitted the Pos + ( the one from the fuse )& Neg - white, using these nuts . Then connected up at the rear . My only small problem was finding a safe route to exit under the engine bay but not too difficult. Sorted! no worry about codes . I know some may not like this way but I found it quitesimple. Steve.

thanks for the replys guys. Yes Swinton that was the same part number, found out that the single red wire from the relay goes to pin number ten in the 13 pin socket on the towbar, pin number 11 is empty, you can put an earth in if you want but don't need to as you have an earth off the relay (white wire). thanks again, John.
